The Leopard Lounge
Here are all of our leopard geckos that we own and breed, we hope to get some great hatchlings for these guys in future breedings. We may end up making a few small projects with our guys in the future once we understand how their genetics blend together. If you would like to see more pictures of any of our animals send us an email or message us via the contact us page, and we will send a few more pictures.
The Breeders!
Gobi
Gobi is an adult hypo enigma male, he does show a few minor signs of enigma syndrome, but not enough to consern me with breeding him. However, I only breed him to females I know don't have enigma or any type of nurological disorder just so that I do not end up with really ill hatchlings. He is a lovely chap who loves to come out of his tank to a little wonder around, he is a very gentle male when paired too females and imidiatlly lets the female go when she wriggles away from him. He is the father of our young male Romeo who will be listed below. He has lovely orange colourations on his back and has a very cool patterning across his body.
Larzac
Larzac is a beautiful mack snow, bell albino PH eclipse male who has a lovely coloration and some amazing markings, he was bed by Damian Snow. He seems to show some signs of a nurological problem, but Damian assures me that he does not have any enigma in, so it may just be how he hatched. However, i'm not consern about this causing any problems for hatchlings, they may express the problem too, but as he can still feed, shed and move around with out any problems i'm sure his babies will be fine. He is a sweet little chap who loves to explore new places and will always explore his entire enclosure after things have been moved around after a clean out.
Voldemort
Voldemort is our sweet little rainwater albino, murphy patternless boy. He has a lovely temperament and is very cheeky, he seems to like to mess his tank up as much as possible so I have to clean up after him all the time. However he is a lovely lad who loves to explore and is really good when being handled. When we first got this handsome boy he had the typical murphy spotted patterns on his back, but as he's grown he's slowly losing them. He got his name due to the fact that he looks bold compared to all of our other geckos as the others all have spots somewhere on them and he doesn't. However his temperament is a complete opposite to his namesake's. Unfortunately we don't have a huge range of girls we can put to him as most of our girls are of a different albino strain (Albinos don't cross well and cancel each other out, plus it would be impossible to tell which albino the hatchlings are displaying), however we do have a few we can put him to so we plan on pairing him up with those girls to see how his genes mix with theirs.
Juliet
Juliet was our first ever hatchling we produced, she was a complete surprize when we found her in the incubator as it was all of our females first year producing eggs which usually means that most if not all the eggs will be infertile. She is the son of Gobi our big male hypo enigma and our sweet female wild type Nevada. She is the same morph as her father and shares traits from both parents, she got her name from the little heart shaded marking on his tail. She is still too young to breed, but we hope to use her in the future, she has a lot of potential and a nice amount of orange pigment appearing on her tail. She was born with one eye smaller than the other, which is one of the reasons we decided to keep her, the other reason we kept her is because she is our first hatchling.
Nevada
Nevada is our stunning wild type female, she has a wonderful personality and temperament. She was our only female to produce a hatchling in 2014, so she has a lot of potential of giving us more offspring in the future and hopefully they will all be stunners like her. She is also know as Buddha as she is usually rather tubby and round, cant help a girl loving her food. She has such a lovely temperament and is also happy to come out of her tank to explore. She has a nice vibrant orange on the base of her tail which she has pasted to her first hatchling already. The good thing with this girl is that we can pair her to pretty much any of our males, which gives us a lot of choice as to who to put to her.
Kalahari
Kalahari is our lovely super hypo carrot tail baldy female, she has a stunning orange tail with an almost marbling effect with the black and white mixing in nicely with the orange. She is one of our largest females, she can be a bit feisty at times and isn't shy to give the person holding her a nasty bite when she's had enough. She likes to think that she rules the roost over the girl group, but she is often put back in her place by Sahara. She can be a bit of a bully at times, but Sahara is always there to stick up for the smaller females and always tells Kalahari off if she's being to rough with the smaller girls. All in all she is a wonderfully nice female who has a bit of a temper on her at times, but she still manages to win us over.
Cleopatra
Cleo is a gorgeous Tremper albino female, she is very flighty and scared of human contact, but when she calms down she is a sweet little character. We are trying to hand tame her, but its taking a long time bless her. She likes to wonder around and explore her tank, but is much more reserved than the other girls she's housed with, she is a cheeky girl who loves her wax worm treats. When she does calm down she is a lovely girl with an amazing temperament, besides her shyness at least. She is one of our smaller females and seems to grow quiet slowly, she's usually found hiding out in one of her many hides, usually a moist hide or one of the rock houses on the warm side of the tank.
Sahara
Sahara is our beautiful super hypo, tremper albino female. She has a beautiful colouration and has a perfect temperament, she is such a sweet female who is always willing to come out to explore. She has a slightly crooked tail due to something that had happened before we got her, we're not sure what caused it, but it doesn't seem to effect her movement in any way. She has a nice orange colour on her tail, but the colouration is not vivid enough to be classed as a carrot tail. She acts like a mother figure to the other girls she lives with and rules the roost over her tank mates.
Torina
Torina is a gorgeous bell albino female, she is a playful little girl with a lot of character. She loves to explore and climb around investigating everything, she is a feisty female and will sick up for herself no matter who the other animal is or how much bigger they are in comparison to her. She's a very friendly girl who loves to be handled as long as she can walk around, she is our most active gecko going and is often seen climbing the branches and logs we put in her tank.
The Non-Breeders!
Oltenia
Oltenia is a beautiful Mack snow, enigma female. We got her along with our boy Gobi and our girl Namibia, the trio had numerous problems, this girl in particular suffered from bullying from the other two much larger geckos and also had countless skin problems. However she has managed to over come these issues and now lives a happy and relaxing life with our collection. This girl is in the non-breeder section due to her enigma syndrome, she shows the signs quiet badly, she also doesn't take kindly to male attention. This could be due to the bullying she had suffered before, so we decided it better for her health to not stress her out by forcing her to breed when she really did not want a male anywhere near her.
Namibia
Namibia is a lovely dark hypo female, we got her with Gobi and Oltenia from a family member who did not give them the care they needed when we got them they had all sorts of problems, from stuck shed to missing toes. These problems have now been corrected and the trio are living happily in our collection, Namibia here was originally part of our breeder group, but she ended up producing dud eggs all the time. However she had been bred before so it was not due to the fact that she was a first time breeder, so we think that she has gone past the age of being able to produce fertile eggs, and we have decided to retire her and let her live out the rest of her days in peace and quiet.
